On October 13, 2026 we read three GPU clouds for the first time: HPC-AI.COM, Barrack AI and Trooper.AI. In our read of 05:40 UTC on October 14, HPC-AI listed the H100 SXM from $2.20 per GPU-hour and Barrack at $3.59. The H100 SXM page printed a median rate card of $3.49 over 39 providers: HPC-AI’s rate was fourth from the bottom, Barrack’s 23rd. Cudo Compute’s $1.79 was the lowest. Trooper, a German cloud listing in euros, put the A100 40GB at €0.61 an hour, the lowest rate card for that card in the same read.
What each price list says
HPC-AI’s pricing page is served as plain HTML. Its on-demand table prints each card “From” a rate per GPU-hour and notes that machines are rented whole, with eight cards only. We record the per-card figure the page prints; the eight-card machine is that figure times eight, $2.20 × 8 = $17.60 an hour for the H100 SXM, a number the page itself does not print. Beside the H100 it listed the H200 at $2.68, the B200 at $4.00 and the RTX 5090 at $0.62. Its reserved rows read “Contact Sales”.
Barrack’s page draws its price card with JavaScript, so we read it rendered, in US dollars and per hour as it opens. Each row names one GPU and its hourly rate, with no spot or reserved figure. It listed the H100 SXM at $3.59, the H200 at $4.45, the B200 at $6.89, the H100 PCIe at $2.89 and the A100 80GB at $1.49, five of the eight cards we read from it.
Trooper’s prices page is a static table of server types, each a range of configurations from one card upward, with a struck-through price and a promotional figure that the page explains as extra credit on deposits made this month. We read the struck-through price, which is what the server is charged per hour, and the smallest configuration of each row. Its A100 40GB server type was €0.61 an hour; at the ECB reference rate of 1.1188 for October 13, €0.61 × 1.1188 = $0.6825.
Where the new rates sit against the medians
Our card pages take each provider’s cheapest on-demand rate as its rate card and print the median of those. HPC-AI’s three data-centre cards all sat in the cheapest five of their cards: the H200 at $2.68 third of 51 against a median of $4.54, the B200 at $4.00 third of 36 against $6.94, and the H100 SXM fourth of 39. Its RTX 5090 at $0.62 was fifth of 18.
Barrack’s rates sat near the middle. Its H100 SXM at $3.59 was above the $3.49 median, its H200 at $4.45 23rd of 51 under $4.54, and its B200 at $6.89 18th of 36 under $6.94. Its H100 PCIe at $2.89 equalled that card’s median of $2.89, sixth of 11, and its A100 80GB at $1.49 was 17th of 57. By our per-provider check over the published prices, neither HPC-AI nor Barrack was the cheapest on any of its cards.
Trooper was the cheapest on two of its 11 cards. On the A100 40GB its $0.6825 was first of 20 rate cards, below centron’s €0.679 ($0.7597), where the median was $1.98. Both new US-dollar H100 SXM rates are constituents of the H100 Price Index for the week of October 12, still provisional at $3.49 over 37 quotes from 35 providers. Trooper lists no H100, and the index takes US-dollar listings only. Nothing here is forecast: these are three price lists as we first read them.
How to check these figures yourself
Every figure above is listed under this text with the page it links and the time we read it. The live rates are on the provider pages for HPC-AI.COM, Barrack AI and Trooper.AI, the medians on the H100 SXM, H200, B200, H100 PCIe and A100 40GB card pages, and the week’s constituents on the Price Index. Those pages update with every hourly read; this article keeps the figures of October 14.
