CloudGPU lowest rate card on 5 GPUs, RTX 4090 $0.33, October 25, 2026

Every figure below is a reading this site published - a rate read on a provider's own page, or a value of the index computed from such rates - listed with its source under the text and frozen as of that day: prices move, and a dated piece says what was true on its date. The live tables are linked beside each figure.

In our build of 05:40 UTC on October 25, 2026, CloudGPU listed the lowest on-demand rate card we read for five GPUs: the A30 at $0.22 a GPU-hour, the RTX 3090 at $0.21, the RTX 4090 at $0.33, the A40 at $0.39 and the A100 40GB at $0.63. These are not price cuts. We read CloudGPU’s pricing page for the first time at 19:40 UTC on October 24, the hour the provider was added to our parser, and the ten figures it listed then were unchanged in every hourly read up to this build.

What the page lists

CloudGPU’s pricing page prints one hourly price per GPU model under “On-Demand”, described as “Pay as you go. No commitment. Hourly list price”, with per-minute billing. The same page states that the service “is in public beta” and that “there is no SLA: no uptime guarantee and no service credits”. Our parser reads ten models from it; other names on the page, among them the A800, H800 and H20, are cards we do not track.

Five cards where it is the lowest rate card

On the A30, CloudGPU’s $0.22 is first of 9 rate cards. The next is SynpixCloud at $0.32, a difference of $0.32 - $0.22 = $0.10 an hour, and /gpu/a30 prints the median as $0.41. On this card no live quote of any market, spot or community included, was lower.

On the RTX 3090, $0.21 is first of 8 rate cards, against SwissGPU’s $0.30, listed as CHF 0.25, and a printed median of $0.45. Salad’s High priority RTX 3090 at $0.17 is lower, but it is a community-market quote, not a rate card.

On the RTX 4090, $0.33 is first of 16 rate cards. CloudRift and packet.ai each list $0.39, so the gap is $0.39 - $0.33 = $0.06 an hour, or $0.06 × 730 = $43.80 over a 730-hour month on one GPU. The median printed on /gpu/rtx-4090 is $0.47.

On the A40, $0.39 is first of 8 rate cards, ahead of RunPod’s Secure Cloud at $0.59, with a median of $0.64. RunPod’s Community Cloud A40 at $0.35 is lower and sits in the community market. On the A100 40GB, $0.63 is first of 21 rate cards, ahead of Trooper.AI’s $0.68 from-rate, which is listed as EUR 0.61. The median there is $1.98, and over a month on one GPU $0.63 × 730 = $459.90 against $1.98 × 730 = $1,445.40.

The five where it is not

On the other five cards it lists, CloudGPU ranks below the lowest rate card. Its A100 80G at $1.49 is rank 13 of 59 rate cards, and its RTX PRO 6000 96G at $1.49 is rank 5 of 39. Its RTX 5090, RTX A6000 and V100 32G each rank second or third.

Nothing here is a forecast. A provider in its first day of reads has no history on our pages yet, so the seven-day column for these ten quotes is empty; this piece describes what the page listed on October 24 and 25.

Open cloudgpu.app/pricing: the table “GPU Model | CloudGPU” prints the hourly price for each model. Our provider page, /providers/cloudgpu, lists the same ten rates with the time of our latest read, and each card page, such as /gpu/rtx-4090, places CloudGPU among the other rate cards and prints the median used above. The medians and ranks are those of the build of 05:40 UTC on October 25. Every figure above is in the sources table under this piece, with its link and read time.

Answers the reader question: shortlist GPU clouds by price before picking one (A100 40GB, A30, A40, RTX 3090, RTX 4090). Written because CloudGPU's pricing page was read for the first time at 2026-10-24 19:40 UTC, when the parser added the provider (commit 430e569), and in the build of 2026-10-25 05:40 UTC its rate is the lowest on-demand rate card on five of the ten cards it lists. All of it is open data under CC BY 4.0; the numbers here are a snapshot, the index and the card pages are current.
